Trip Kota Kinabalu : The Hidden Gems Part 1

Assalamualaikum. Hello everyone!
Just come back from Kota Kinabalu for last trip, it was really amazing.
Today, I will update step by step all your needs for Kota Kinabalu trip. I have been there for 3 days and 2 night, alhamdulillah it was amazing journey. Definitely you should be there!
Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu
Our flight depart from KLIA2 by 9.30 am, and it takes about 2 hours to reach Kota Kinabalu Airport. For your information, all the visitor from east Malaysia the longest can stay in Sabah is within 90 days. There are 2 options you can do, bring Malaysia Red Passport or direct use our Malaysia IC and boarding pass during immigration.

After arrived to KK International Airport, just follow the signboard; there will be two direction. For visitor local Sabah or visitor from International/East Malaysia/Sarawak. So, just follow the direction ya. Refer below :

Until you reach immigration area, go to Malaysia Passport. Please don't panic when you see everyone take out their red Malaysia passport but you notice that you don't bring yours one! hahaha..
No problem, just give the immigration staff your IC no and your boarding pass. Then, they will provide you a paper note, like Visa to Sabah. Make sure you keep the paper note, if missing you are in danger huhu..

After settle immigration part, now get ready to explore Kota Kinabalu! :-) :-)
Day 1 in Kota Kinabalu
From KK Airport, we directly heading to Suria Mall, from this area you will pass by Tg Aru Beach.
Tg Aru Beach is one of attraction place in KK, the best time to come is late evening, the best view to watch sun set. At this Suria Mall, you can walk around for sight seeing.

Tadaa.. Our lunch, when you travel to new place, you should try local food. This is called seaweed, they fried seaweed with chilies and mango. Nice taste! Price for food is quite cheap, rice, seaweed, fish is around RM4.50 only. Good taste and good price.
Tg Aru Beach is one of attraction place in KK, the best time to come is late evening, the best view to watch sun set. At this Suria Mall, you can walk around for sight seeing.

Next stop, we heading to Masjid Bandaraya, this is must visit place to visit in KK.
What so special about this Masjid Bandaraya? The concept of this mosque is to function as central for all activities, at mosque area we can see there many stalls and shop. Mosque at the centre, and has wonderful design. SubhanaAllah, this is very good effort to attract non-muslim too.

After Masjid Bandaraya, we directly move to next stop.
Mission for sunset view in one of hidden gems in KK, which is named Koko's Hill.
The journey from KK City to Kokol Hill is take around 0.5 hours aka 30 minutes,
and it was located at the top hill.
There are resort if you choose want to stay at Kokol Hill, very nice one and yes quite expensive but worth it for breathtaking view.

When you arrived Kokol Hill gate, there will have ticket to buy, the ticket is RM10 per head. Please keep the ticket and we can redeem for glass of drink after that. I have my own Hot Chocolate.
It was very nice!
Inside here, you can feel the cold weather, its very cool and I love this place.

Lets enjoy the view, sunset from Kokol Hill.
After perform our prayer, for muslim here got Musolla to perform praying. So don t worry, we can solah here before move to another place. Next after Kokol Hill sunset view, mission for dinner!
Heading to seafood heaven,very fresh seafood and yes cheaper one. Alhamdulillah :-)
Best place to eat, cost for all is only RM60 :)
So we devide by 4 person, cost us only RM15 per person for seafood dinner!
We end day 1 by sightseeing at KK City, its a remarkable trip.
